con·fi·dence a feeling of self-assurance arising from one's appreciation of one's own abilities or qualities

As a bigger girl I feel like confidence is a trait that is really important to have. Now a days it's so much negativity in the air and people will really make you feel like you don't belong here because of how much you weigh. That's something I don't and will never understand. I will never understand why one person's weight would bother the next person. I always told people "if I want to die 600 pounds please let me do that shit in piece". I understand that some people may comment on the subject because of health reasons, but in all honesty most comment on it because they feel as if though you don't look how they feel you should look. When did weight determine someone as a person? If someone could answer that question for me I would surely appreciate it.

Society really has their mind set that everyone has to be in a certain weight class at a certain age and If you don't make the cut you're either anorexic or obese. Who is anyone to say what the next person should be?? I don't fucking understand..

It took me YEARS to genuinely love the way I look and I get asked all the time how do I have so much confidence and honestly I don't know how to really answer that question. One day I just stopped caring about what others had to say about my weight, how I dressed, and so forth because at the end off the day it's my body.

Now don't get me wrong. I did a photoshoot maybe a month ago and I was SO nervous because I'm usually fully clothed during my shoots. It was something new for me but I just had a "what's the worst that can happen" attitude and the shoot came out PERFECT!

And while speaking on that, ONE compliment can go a long way. My photographer gassed me up and I promise you it made me so confident through out the photoshoot. In fact, he ( Maurice ) is the best photographer I have worked with by far. He knew this was my first photoshoot showing a lot of skin and yet he made me feel like I'ma whole plus size model out here!
